Update 11/2/2010

Tonight i managed to remove the 2 lower bolts on the rear struts, so that jobs out the way!

Next problem is i need to be back from work early enough to have the light to remove the back seats and parcel shelf as thats where the strut top mounts are, but so far happy with the progress

As well tonight i cracked the subframe nuts allowing them to be removed easier when it comes to fitting my subframe locking collars

Aidan - bleed nipples are all loosened off so will be easy i hope when it comes to bleeding and adding fresh fluid

Get paid next week so should be able t buy my last bits and get everything sorted and crack on with the re-build!

Right.....

Firstly an update as to what ive been doing:

All suspension is now removed from the car! had to remove the rear parcel shelf, it was a bit of a bugger but its gone!

on the bolt front my dad has managed to source some......for Free!!!!!!

The bolts were wierd the looked like:




But turns out once measured they were ^^^

So if i get a good weather one evening the front and rear coilies will be fitted!

Today is payday and ive got quite a list

starting with some spacers, im running ET12 all round, but fancied a bit more poking at the back so have some 6mm slip on spacers coming, just short enough to allow standard stud length!

thus becoming rear ET6

tires once ive made a final decision will be ordered too along with some other essential, shiney and carbon bits

photos will be here once they arrive!

finally my bodywork is going to plan, grill is primed and then sanded now ready for another quick prime and then a top coat, splitter is off waiting to be sanded and then given the once over of matt black and the mirrors have been rubbeed down, still on the car and will be primed next week and hopefully finished by the end of the week

gonna nip out and buy some brake fluid this weekend and get the system bled up so thats ready to go too!

obviously the next big saving is for some brinks and motar but thats going well, well enought to look into a cabon bonnet and hopefully before PTM show some nice new injectors and ECU remap to give me my 320ish BHP
