UPDATE 8/2/2010

Had a couple of hours again tonight

Removed the front bumper and trimmings, and split the splitter from it (Its looking a little tatty so gonna be treated to a coat of black paint)

Headlights are out and bulbs to be replaced with LED sidelights etc as im hoping to run HIDS

Washer bottle is out, christ knows whats gonna replace it as there is pumps all over it

Inner archer liner (Fronts) removed as they were already catching so wheels are gonna cause major problems

While the front end is off im gonna give it all a good clean and freshen up

hoping to get the rest of it sorted this week!

On a seperate note, went to Nissan to try to buy 4 new lower strut bolts, no problem they just need to order them in.......

......at a price of £47 + VAT for 4 nuts and bolts!!!!

LOL

Update 9/2/2010

Cracked on with some bodywork tonight

The standard Grill on the S14a looks like this:

you can see a small raised center section, mine (Thanks to Alanman and his trusty grinder) no longer has this raised bit

The aim is to get it to look like this one:

[Image: 2007_1111mycarnovember070005.jpg?t=1211120392]

Mines kinda in between the 2 at the mo, ive fibreglassed up the holes it left using a cut up spreader as a bridge and its been rubbed back and had a fine layer of filler applied

Looks good i think, im no bodywork master but enjoy messing with filler etc

there would be pics of mine on here but my phone wont upload for some reason so maybe tommorrow

Wheels go to there new home tommorrow, and the little cash bonus will go nicely towards the stack of parts still to get!

I still think the splitter would look good colour coded. Your painting it anyway.

It would make your bumper look deeper and lower

Grille looks much better like that! Best get cracking by the looks of it mate! You bled the brakes yet? Bleed nipples are horrible and would be a pain in the ass two days before fastshow lol!
