Yes it will be lower. I've been practically living at work recently so hopefully wont take that long to get the rest of what I need.

Well, got new front bumper so only need side-skirts and its ready for bodyshop. Looking for Zero/Sports ones if anyone can find any, I cant.

Also got some coilovers with pillowball uppers, anti-lift kit, new Lambda probe (just the narrowband one to stop my CEL coming on), found a spare 3.54 rear diff, an H-frame brace for underneath, some more axle stands (5 still using my others) and some ramps. So if I get any spare time soon all that will be going on along with the other stuff I havent bothered with yet like the clutch master and slave cylinders, earthing kit and brake master cylinder stopper.

And D2 coilovers, heard mixed things about D2 so thought I'd give them a try.

i like that sort of kit on a scoob as it is a extremtly aggressive kit.

RE: *Member* Shane's Impreza Turbo 2000AWD
Well, got off my arse and made a start on the coilovers yesterday when I finished work. Only 2 bolts and 3 nuts holding each strut in place so easy job.......or so I thought. 4 and a half hours later I had one rear coilover fitted. Pics up tomorrow sometime, but the problems I had were with the bolts in the bottom being seized up. Covered them in WD40 and hammered the crap out of them for well over an hour before I finally got them out, rounded one of the heads off too, so that slowed me down. Also the brake hose goes through a hole in the original strut and is held in place by a clip. This clip was not wanting to budge so took about an hour to shift. Then I had to undo the brake hose from the caliper to pull in back through the hole then re-connect it so brakes are gonna need bleeding when I've finished. Coilover went in, in about 5 mins, had pre-set ride height etc before it went on so had to make a few changes as it was set to low and I couldn't get the wheel back on under the arch. Sits nicely now so will keep it as is for the time being, but if I get no rubbing I'll drop it a little more. Air wrench is being bought today before I tackle the others, this should make short work of those seized up bolts.
Was getting stressed with it yesterday, but its got me motivated to get working on my cars again so any spare time I get will be spent on sorting them.

Original suspension with bolts covered in WD40:

New and old side by side, notice how much shorter the D2's are:

And the new coilover in place:

How it sits now, can go lower I think, but going to see how it drives first to see if there is any rubbing:

Air Impact wrench should be here by the end of the week so rest should be on over the weekend.
