Right, bit of an update on 2011 progress.

The front wheels will be ordered 17th or 18th Feb. I'm sticking with 8.5j but will be about a 3" dish so should still look the biz. 235 35 19 Michelin are the choice of tyre.

I've been prepping another dash ready for flocking black rather than the cream one. This will be done with my own flocking kit I bought of the tinterweb lol, so you never know the cream might be staying yet. But if it works well then bring on the flock++

++ Variable mates rates will apply. lol.

Also started to transform the engine bay that bit more for 2011. I've already replaced the 5mm breather hoses for the ECU and dump valve etc with matching colour. There was 4 different colours, thicknesses and ages. So £3 worth of hose has made it all matching and looks the tits already. Before the next show anything that can be, will also be replaced. Theres a shit load of 19mm breather hoses going all over the engine bay mostly fromt the rocker cover to the oil seperator and to the meatering unit, so I recon they'll be next. Then the water hoses to the header tank and swirl pot will be last. Should look sweet then.

Still undecided on colour of calipers. I'd like gold to match the bells but finding the right colour match might prove difficult. Although gold with red writing would look the tits. If not gold, Clare wants blue.

Not much else really. Bit of tidying, and cleaning (or painting if its easier) and we're ready for 2011. Woop fuckin woop. I cant wait.

if you cant find the right Gold...and that might prove difficult...id go Red

I know there are lots of Red calipers out there but it ties in with your bay, if you have blue...its gonna look a bit odd i think?

I recon I'm going for gold. I'm sure if I go to the right place I'll find it. There's plent of gold cars out there so surely theres one to match.

Well the dash is flocked. It looked the bollox when I did it, but now its dried and brushed off there's a couple of bald patched. Doh!

Instructions say not to worry though. It says if this happens simply flock those areas again and you wont notice.

Overall, I was happy with finish. I know why there's bald patched, so I now know what to do to stop it happening again. Maybe for my first flock I should have tried something smaller instead of going all out and doing a dash. lol.

I'm going to do the patches tomorrow then I'll be able to tell you if the shop is open for business. lol.
