RE: *Member* Olstars 1989 Volkswagen Caddy
right!

now that the future of my caddy is looking slightly more promising, i am gonna make a FINAL (i hope) checklist of things i need to get it on the road.

to make the truck road worthy i need to properly secure my new fuel filter, and connect the relay for the new electric fuel pump.

in addition to this i need 1 (but ill probably get 2) shockers for the back as one is nackerd..

and i need to buy a dash insert (or make one) to house all my switches..

i have seen one on eBay for £10 lets hope no one bids on it!

and i need to wire up the air susension as i dont want o move it much with the bags totally deflated in case i dmage them.

il need to buy a compressor, and i think im gonna use the airtank i have in my garage.. its a bit big but i think a bit of concrete in the bottom should sort that out Icon_smile

rich (who used to have the mini now had a bmw) is sorting me some larger air pipes so that i can get the air in and out faster, and hopefully my step dad is getting me all the neccesary solenoids and relays i need to contro where the air is going..

then a simple 4 way switch box needs to be made up and as long as nothing else go's wrong.. that should be the lot!

there are a few other niggly bits i want to do but they dont effect the useage of the cad so it should be MOT time then!!

fuck time is running out Icon_lol
