solid adjustable dog bone mount.
![]() The mount when set up correctly can be used to hold the engine solidly without flex rotationally, leading to more precise gear changes and tighter engine. Also it allows a certain degree of positioning of the engine to eliminate downpipe knocking and other clearance issues, again when setup for the individual car, It also gives a nice slagtastic chassis vibration on idle!

You changing the top mounts to something a little more solid as well ?
I know especially on the 172/182 if you change the dog bone mount to something more solid it puts more strain on the standard top mounts and rips them to pieces very quickly.. I say go solid all round :boogy: Peugeot 306 1.9 DT PH1 Peugeot 306 1.9 DT PH2 Peugeot 106 Rallye S2 Renault Clio RenaultSport Candy White Seat Leon FR Mineral White BMW e92 Coupe on 19s "A true petrol head.. completes a track day on a sunday and is home in time for tea and Top Gear" |
