*Report* Velocity King's Summer Fun Day

Our friend's at Velocity Kings occasionally oganise an event at a local dyno place and their latest event was Sunday at Dynodaze Ltd in Hinkley.

A bit of a treck but we said months ago that we would attend after all the hype and we wasnt disapointed.

The event was posted as starting at 10.00am and we arrived on the industrial estate at about 10.20am. If we would have been just 10 mins later we would have been parked in the road. It got really busy really quickly with some serious motors.

Throughout the day there were cars doing dyno runs and I was shocked with some of the figures, a Nova running 260+ for one, not sure on engine but it was a serious motor. On his bumper he had "I'd rather be the hunter, than the hunted" with a pic of a nova behind an Evo. I'd say it would be good at hunting. Obviously goes without saying my fav was a 3dr Cosworth running 440bhp. All after he needed to borrow some WD40 as he had water in one of his sensors. ???. Joys of owning an old Ford. lol.

O.M.G. This was mega. Carbon everything, bonnet, wings, doors, boot. You name it, it was carboned.


It also had antilag and was the loudest I had ever heard. People were seriously running away from it when it was popping and banging. It didnt go on rollers though!!!
