*MAXXD* Ollie's Toyota Corolla T Sport

Ok, so I thought I should start my project thread on the new wip.

It will come as no surprise that I decided at the back end of 2012 that I would give the 200 a year or so off from its show & shine whoring and general awesomeness to scratch an itch I have had for wayyyy to long and that was build and enjoy a track toy.

Now many will recall I dipped my toe in a few years ago when I built an old corolla saloon and threw it round silverstone without it owing me a penny more than £300, but that went as it was rotten and I've always wanted to build something fit for this purpose, so here it is!



It's a 2002 Toyota Corolla T sport, revvy 190bhp engine, front wheel drive and of course a Toyota!

It's a pretty tidy car to be honest comes with electrics and leather, not that I will need all that but useful to sell on in future to recompense the cost (which wasn't as much as you might think!)



78k on the clock that means in t sport terms its clutch time, this one was mullered so off to Neil at Turner Auto services who stuck a fab exert clutch in for me



I've a trackday planned on the 7th July at Blyton so that will give it a real work out, but I already know areas it's going to struggle, and the anchors are the main one!

So I have gone for a full overhaul, fresh dot 5.1 fluid, SFS performance braided lines all round, EBC yellowstuff track based pads...

And these baby's!



MTec sport grooved and dimpled discs, perfect compromise between road and track use and should haul the car to a stop safely and without fading when I have given them some!

Now back to see Neil when the rest of the kit arrives...hopefully before Blyton!
