RE: *MAXXD* Clare's Rieger F40 Escort Cabriolet "BigCab"
Last night....
I repaired hydrolic ram for the boot lid so it shouldn't try to eat any poor unsuspecting models this year. lol. It even opens more too. Still not bored of the boot lid. lol. I've finished the last bits on the flock dash (and a few other bits) and it now looks wicked, better than its ever done. I've put a bit of trim above amp and subs to hide the join in the carpet. I tried carpet tape but wouldnt sit nice. Dont particularly like it but it looks better than the loose carpet. Monday I had the rear wheels off again to see why the brakes were squeeking and found a problem with the carrier for the caliper. I think when we've put the new/different hubs on they were slightly different and moved the possition of the disk out. And doing so the front face of the disk was just touching the carrier and thats not good. 10 points to the first person that knows what tool I used to sort this little problem out. lol I have a few little bits left to do but mainly cleaning the inside and a bit of touch up here and there. Not sure if I like being this organised. I like the stress. Although we are buying a new battery Friday so thats a little last minute. lol. |
