RE: *MAXXD* Pyro's Subaru Impreza Bugeye
Could have done with it being done before Sat afternoon, stupid car park...
Anyway... Ollie suggested just making the splitter removable, which sounds like a better idea, but I don't think I'd be able to tie wrap it back on securely enough, especially with the adjusters pulling it about, plus, thinking about it, I don't think I'd be able to get my hand under with a pair of pliers to cut them off, and there'd be no chance if I'd actually managed to get stuck. Had a chat with a lad to day about it as he's has his bumper off for spraying, apparently there's loads of bolts/clips holding it on, something a quick shove with my foot confirmed. It didn't move, or even flex, not even a mm, so sounds like it'll be a fun job taking it off... Just ordered some new clips as the ones I had were those big spring hook ones which I decided weren't going to be sturdy enough, plus they needed like a 10mm bolt at one end, something I wasn't willing to do. Then just need some connectors for my strobes to make them detachable and I'll be good to go ![]() |
