*MAXXD* Cooper's Astra VXR

Ive wanted an Astra VXR for a long time so i decided to save for one. After lots of saving i found one that was bang on and local. So August last year i got myself one






About 2 weeks after picking it up, it went on track for the first time at Silverstone





Only a couple of small bits went on and just saving for parts over the winter, And this is how she looks now



18inch Team Dynamics Pro 1.2's - Yoko Parada Spec 2 tyres
Remus turbo back exhaust
Eibach Pro springs
Whiteline Adjustable Rear Anti Roll Bar
Heko wind deflectors
Insignia washer jets
black fog light surrounds


Then it was on track again at Cadwell Park






Afew more bits went on the other week to tidy up the engine bay. Courts Direct Route Airbox and courts air filter, also courts hoses. Looks loads better in the bay and car feels so much better at the bottom end of the revs. Also a black oil cap, just looks better than the yellow one.

Anyone dyno'd it coop before and after to see a difference?

Makes me miss my old one Can't beat the sound of a Remus on full chat, popping and banging.

Enlarged top hat and FMIC next?

Not sure if anyone has put it on the dyno after just this mod, but with the other breather mods that ive got it gets proven gains together

Such simple mods, but such a big impact.

Sunday i took the Astra on an open pit trackday at Blyton, car was faultless all day and even with the very hot weather it didnt miss a beat. Only problem i have was my team dynamics centre caps didnt seem to like it. One came off and one melted!

Whats next with the Astra, i dont no
