RE: *MAXXD* D's Renault Clio TURBO
Looks good so far. How much space have you got for the exhaust manifold and turbo? Reason I'm asking is that the design of the manifold is certainly not ideal.
Edit: Guessing not alot, just done some googling and it looks like all turbo manifolds for the F7R are of a similar design: ![]() One difference I have noticed however is that yours is one peice where it bolts to the head, others I have seen are in three peices. You can just about see the diaganol cuts in the pic. This will be to allow for expansion when hot, but as to what would happen if they wern't there I don't know. Maybe something to keep in mind if you find you have any troubles with exhaust gaskets or whatever. |

RE: *MAXXD* D's Renault Clio TURBO
funnily enough i do have that exact cast manifold in my shed but the tubular 1 is made specially for this engine and the ports have been matched to it.

RE: *MAXXD* D's Renault Clio TURBO
the head is all back together with its provisional rocker cover and standard cams left in for the running in period then the turbo cams will be going in
![]() ![]() ![]() not the best pic but a shiny and de-greased engine bay and even old mud from fast show all removed
