RE: Toyota GT86 GT4 revealed - Sazzle - 31-07-2013 10:23 AM i still love the GT86... so fun to be in http://www.topgear.com/uk/photos/toyota-gt86-gt4-racer-revealed-2013-02-05 RE: Toyota GT86 GT4 revealed - OllieWestwood - 31-07-2013 11:00 AM It's not 4WD Neil, it not a GT4 as in a celica GT4 it's a GT4 class of racing (there is a MX5, ginetta, Aston Martin etc that all race in GT4 class) RE: Toyota GT86 GT4 revealed - Fernandofan08 - 31-07-2013 02:10 PM I must be one of the few who doesn't like the GT86/BRZ. RE: Toyota GT86 GT4 revealed - ASH - 01-08-2013 07:32 AM Agree with the other two they're alright but was expecting better from them RE: Toyota GT86 GT4 revealed - Fernandofan08 - 02-08-2013 05:04 PM (01-08-2013 07:32 AM)ASH Wrote: Agree with the other two they're alright but was expecting better from them The new Turbo version for the road will be much better but it seems Im wrong as Toyota have officially cancelled a Turbo release; http://www.nitrobahn.com/news/toyota-to-axe-gt-86-turbo-and-convertible/ For me, the massive problem was the cost, the fact it has poor performance for the money, the tyres/wheels are too small and to be frank; its not even as good as my RX8 performance wise which technically is a 10 year old car; and it has 4 seats and a big boot. I see what they tried to do, but to me they just stained the 86 moniker trying to say 'hey look, this is a spiritual successor'. No, its not. Its not just a Toyota problem, I find most car manufacturers are releasing poor excuses of 'performance/sports cars/hot hatches'. Look at the new Cliosport'; horrid. I dont like the 208 GTi either or the Fiesta ST. Hell I dont like any of the new shape fords; theyre horrid. The new civic type R is going to be absolutly brilliant performancewise, but it will still look like the abysmal pensioner-mobile with the horrid insight rear end. They've lost the plot these days; cars look so ugly and bland;
