*MAXXD* Pyro's Audi RS4 Avant - Pyrotechnic - 27-06-2013 11:36 PM

In true 'f**k it, I'm having one' style, I thought, 'f**k it, I'm having one', and had one.

Meet Eeyore:

Not really done much, it's factory lowered, so sits *fairly* well, and with coilovers starting at around £1800 + fitting, it can stay that way...

New exhaust to go on:

Old one off (couldn't resist starting it up like this, sounded EPIC):

New one on (only difference (looks-wise) is black tips):

Old one stored away:

It's got 4WD, that makes it an off-roader, right...?

Fitted 10mm spacers to the rear:

But I've had new tyres since, and it looks nowhere near this good, so I reckon I might chuck the 10s on the front and get some 15s for the rear.

Got a CF splitter for the front (only splitter I know of that comes with an ECU), that I may get around to fitting one day...:

Finally done some work!

Must be the quickest 'purchase to fitting' turnaround for me ever; bought and fitted in the same afternoon Icon_biggrin One front number plate delete:

Not sure what to do with it, either leave it as is, paint it gloss to match the grill surround, or even paint it blue to match the body...?

And then a not-so-quick-turnaround. This one's been sat in the box for must be nearly a year now after been fetched by our resident white van man. One OEM carbon fibre front splitter. Now, when I say OEM, it is from Audi, but it's designed for the A4 DTM version, and therefore isn't quite a straightforward fit, although, nothing a drill and a few bolts can't solve...

The CF is beautiful, Ollie even suggested it should actually be mounted on the wall, not stuck under a car.

I also fitted a new brake light bulb. Productive afternoon.

Love the splitter! Think the plate delete would look good in body colour!

A year ago? It's got to be longer than that when I fetched it!!

It looks ace, unles you have seen this in person the pics won't do it justice, I know how expensive it was an you can tell this in te reflection of quality.

On another note, your the only man who after sorting his private plate out 5 days ago...buys a plate delete Icon_smile

Does make it look good though, I quite like it all black.

Its about bloody time you fitted that splitter.

Love the delete, leave it black.

The car was a year old to me in April, so can't be more than a year, you brought it over to me when we went down to Brands Hatch for TA.

There's a company making them actually designed for the RS4 now, at £335, so I think I did quite well!

Yes, I can very much see the irony in getting the delete, and I only got the plates made because I got a letter saying I have to pay a retention because I haven't transferred the plates yet after buying them.
