Ollie, speaking to Gary (the owner) last night, the green car with the gold wheels is very rare, a lighgtweight model made for racing / rallying but the first owner (a dealer principal) thought it was too good to do that to.
He gets his cars from Australia or New Zealand, reckons the condition of the cars from there is stunning - in fact he's off there in 2/3 weeks time!
Thought mine was an AE82 GT FWD???? Shows what I know, and I will bend to your greater knowledge Ollie!
Oops, just looked it up, and you're right with the model number as it's a second generation car...

it is confusing!
The pic i posted up is the AE92 Gti-16v (G plate - J plate IIRC)
The AE82 is squarer (and slightly cooler in my opinion) ran from A plate - F Plate
this is a AE82

Both 82 and 92 are FWD (The AE86 Was RWD) both have 4A-GE engines (1.6 16v twin cam) although the latter of the 92s had better engines uprated bits gave them about 10bhp more do if its a 92 the latter models are better to go with
