RE: *MAXXD* Ash's VW Lupo sport - OllieWestwood - 09-07-2013 11:58 PM I need you to come buff my headlights, my attempt was average at best. Looking forward to seeing it clayed, be careful in this weather though... Keep it wet RE: *MAXXD* Ash's VW Lupo sport - Pyrotechnic - 10-07-2013 12:28 AM (09-07-2013 11:54 PM)ASH Wrote: Yes the cover was fitted but I've removed it as its got a green tinge to it so going to try and give it a polish tomorrow If it's like the carbon covers on mine, it's the heat, not a lot you can do about the colour. Ridiculous clean is ridiculous! If you're going to do a job though... RE: *MAXXD* Ash's VW Lupo sport - ASH - 10-07-2013 07:19 PM New brakes all round today ![]() ![]() And the new shiny ones ![]() Just a few more mechanical bits need doing then the modifications/upgrades can start RE: *MAXXD* Ash's VW Lupo sport - ASH - 02-08-2013 08:44 AM Ok so I have my ideas where I'm going with the car now ! Body work is average at best so will be looking into wrap/paint (in the long term) Short term Replace coilovers s they're knackerd for something more handling focused than the budget ones it's currently running Front upper and lower braces Rear upper brace and a white line anti roll bar SS 4 branch and full SS exhaust As most know I'm looking at getting wheels off a new mini and making them fit just waiting for the funds to allow the price they fetch ! After that I'm considering buckets harnesses and a cage, not for track but to have a smart clean/track look car main reasons its got a sun roof and a tiny engine so won't be worth taking on track RE: *MAXXD* Ash's VW Lupo sport - OllieWestwood - 02-08-2013 09:11 AM Sounds like a plan! How much are mini wheels fetching? There must be loads about there seem to be billions of minis! You don't need a billion horsepower to have fun on a track but the race look is a good plan, maybe a chrome cage like I used to have in the punto? What's first on the list to get sorted? RE: *MAXXD* Ash's VW Lupo sport - olstar - 02-08-2013 11:05 AM Swa a proper tidy lupo the toher day with some ret small wheels that stuck out a mile.. sat on its arse.. That had a kinda "race" look to it... Very cool RE: *MAXXD* Ash's VW Lupo sport - ASH - 02-08-2013 01:53 PM Yea chrome show cage is an option at a later date Surprisingly finding mini wheels in 15-16 is hard most are 17+ but they fetching about £300 which is a lot considering its a standard wheel RE: *MAXXD* Ash's VW Lupo sport - ASH - 30-08-2013 08:14 AM New coilovers will be going on soon collected them earlier this week AND I'm picking up new wheels tonight a very common wheel but not seen in the dub scene very much Need a major refurb so will be blasted and powder costed when funds recover then I will reveal RE: *MAXXD* Ash's VW Lupo sport - Spener - 31-08-2013 12:06 AM Interested! Off the Mini wheels then? RE: *MAXXD* Ash's VW Lupo sport - ASH - 02-09-2013 07:38 PM Yea a few people beat me to it and they didn't look as good as I hoped |
