RE: *Member* Speners Bmw 325 - chip - 23-11-2009 10:58 AM Well if you want anything thats braided the OD doesnt really count. But that does sound a thin wall! Is it Nylon your using? With push-fit fittings (as-in the pipe pushes INTO the fitting, not over)? Same piping as what Olly has on the Caddy if you've seen that. RE: *Member* Speners Bmw 325 - Spener - 23-11-2009 03:54 PM Yeah there push-in not over, think its nylon line, where you at? Got the old man on the case for me might send him down. RE: *Member* Speners Bmw 325 - chip - 23-11-2009 04:16 PM Tubes, Fittings, Valves on Bath LANE, not street. To be honest though, just been discussing it with the lads and none of us have ever seen braided nylon pipe. I'll have a browse through afew suppliers books and see what i can find. RE: *Member* Speners Bmw 325 - Spener - 23-11-2009 05:45 PM I could be wrong and probably am, what i want to do is use braided from the bags to the spare tyre well and bolt them through there with push-in connections then use the airline i have from there to the valves in the boot. RE: *Member* Speners Bmw 325 - chip - 23-11-2009 05:49 PM So in other words it's the pipe on the outside/underneath of the car you want braided and then you want a bulkhead type fitting going through the s.wheel well. I'll keep browsing and let you know tonight/tomorrow if i can find any braided stuff but tbh i dont think i will find any. Take it you just want it braided to protect it from the elements...plus it would look pimp lol. RE: *Member* Speners Bmw 325 - Spener - 23-11-2009 05:56 PM Exactly what i want! RE: *Member* Speners Bmw 325 - Saint AAI - 23-11-2009 06:11 PM Could you not just slide some nylon hose inside a larger over braided rubber one? The overbraid would just be for show, but would help protect the nylon line. RE: *Member* Speners Bmw 325 - chip - 23-11-2009 06:13 PM TBF, as bodge as it sounds, that might be the best bet. Found out you might get PTFE in the way your asking, but it's not really the right stuff. RE: *Member* Speners Bmw 325 - Spener - 04-12-2009 08:00 PM Just collected my new wheels from Coventry. Same as these, will get some picture of mine. ![]() 18' x 8' et37 fronts and 18' x 9' et42 rears, came with 225/40 falkens but theyre coming off for Ollie and then get some 205/40's. Gonna split them and polish the lips, and also rub the centers down either to a brushed steel look or colour code them. RE: *Member* Speners Bmw 325 - Pyrotechnic - 04-12-2009 09:18 PM I know I said I don't like flats, but they're going to look ace, excellent choice. |
